All pigs are wild and caught in Hawkes Bay, New Zealand. Hunting done by Stephen and Liam and some with friends.

This 150 pound boar was caught on Saturday 6 may 2006. This boar had little tusks but sharp ones; it had managed to rip a dog (molly) on both of her ears. What happened is that it was a rainy cold day then we saw a good sized pig a couple of ridges away. Soon after that two dogs took off, 25 minutes went by then we heard bailing. Once we got close to the bail the pig broke, but in a couple of minutes we heard them bailing again. So we walked in their and took a shot (missed) and the dogs flew in for hold, so we ended up sticking it.
This 40 pound boar was caught in Putere on Saturday 14th of May. This day our dogs took off and I waited around the corner while dad looked back down around the other side of the gully, after about 10mins of waiting I started to hear grunting and snorting about 40-60 yards away from me. I was tip towing up to it, then Dad came stomping back and then we heard the pig scamper away, I also saw another pig run up a hill our white dog
Bella went up for a sniff and came back. Then she went down the other side of the gully, about two metres away this pig broke from her, so I let chase off the lead and she had it bailed then Bella came down and killed it, it was only a little one so we left it. We heard our other two dogs bailing, so we went down there. Our dog Jill came back and 20mins after Molly came back to. But then on our way out we got this little 35pound boar, so we kept this one.
This 75-80 pound boar was caught in the Kaweka's on Saturday 19th February (my first dog (chases) first pig). We got this boar on the way back. My pup chase had it bailed because it was its first pig and the other three dogs were holding it, two on the ear and one up its arse.
This 110 pound boar was caught on the outskirts of Te Kuiti on Friday 21 October (labour weekend), this was also known as the competition weekend.
It was a wet day when we saw a pig walking up a ridge; we quickly tied the dogs on a leash. The pig which we now think is a boar went up and over the ridge, so we went up the ridge and saw the pig walking straight underneath us on a grassy paddock. We let the dogs off the leash and chucked them over the fence, molly found it and had it bailed once the other dogs got there they all held it, we got and killed it within a minute
so we had heaps of pork for the freezer.
(The next day at the same place our old girl (Jill) got killed by a much bigger pig that we didn't get)
This little boar was caught in Putere on Saturday 20 august. What happened was that the dogs took off except chase because she was on the lad, so they took off and I and Dad heard some grunting, snorting and scrapping, so we quickly let chase off the lead but it was too late the scrapping had already stopped because the pig ran straight passed this little 20pound boar above.
